Details: This patient had upper eyelid redundancy that was making her eyelids “feel heavy” and “look tired”. We discussed that her skin laxity was likely causing both the discomfort and her aesthetic concerns. We decided to remove said excess skin to open up her eyes and alleviate that discomfort. This procedure was performed with a deep plane facelift, platysmaplasty, rhinoplasty, lateral brow lift and CO2 laser treatment in a surgery center under local anesthesia.
